well, i guess it's time to man up and power through the whole velvet underground discography this week

don't forget to skip Squeeze

also you should listen to a few of Lou Reed's solo works, he made wonderful albums by himself

What Natick said, which probably would take about four hours considering how short it is. Better challenge: Metal Machine Music. All week. Nonstop.

one way ticket to tinnitus

i was just about to mention metal machine music since it is credited with starting noise and all that

somebody needs to tell me that i listen to too much merzbow for my own good

you should totally listen to coney island baby, it's my favourite from his solo work, and i believe his best

nice gif,if it is a gif.

thanks

@Savant
He sure is...

yeah

Can you recommend any punk bands.

i guess so, i'm not really big on punk rock tho, but i'll try, any sub genre in particular?

i should have asked what a good halloween album would be last week

"bela lugosi's dead" all day long

Post-punk and political-punk, or any punk band that stood out to you.

post punk is fantastic. but i don't believe it's in the range of punk rock, the terminoly has punk in it but i don't think they're much related.

anyway, Mission of Burma - Signals Calls and Marches EP started the whole indie rock and alternative movement, so it's a must. also their debut.

then there's Au Pairs - Playing with a Different Sex, Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance, Wire - Pink Flag, Siouxsie and the Banshees - Juju, Suicide - s/t, Rema Rema - Wheel in Roses EP, Mars - 78, Devo - Are We Not Men? We Are Devo

and if you're into the No Wave scene Brian Eno managed a fantastic compilation called "No New Wave, No New York"

hit me up if you need some more

do you even skype

very rarely

You should share skype information with us and stuff because of reasons.

Oh and Joy Division.

well i just might so you see who's boss

joy division r gud

hey yo bruh hows life nig

dope u kno pussy game ridiculous hbu?

gettin dat cash/bitch flow u know me n***a

das it mah nigguh

I DIDN'T KNOW YOU LOVED DEAD KENNEDYS WHY DON'T YOU TELL ME THESE THINGS I HAVE ALL THEIR ALBUMS YOU TURD

tbh i only listened to fresh fruit for rotten vegetables and a few assorted songs from other albums

still, pretty much all i've listened from them was really really good... fantastic guitar work, biafra's lyrics, same birthdays as me, etc...

Listen to their second album, plastic surgery disasters, it's a good album and has the good lyrics as well. Oh and their song Soup is Good Food, sweet jesus that is catchy.

only one i know from that album is Halloween

will do tho

"The Pelvic Underground and Nico"

how far are you into the wire

mos def is pretty cool btw

uhh ep. 12 season 1 i believe

it just keeps getting better and i got exams to do fuck this fuck the wire fuck you

innit? black on both sides is fantastic, especially speed law. the hypocritical lyrics on rock n roll kind of bug me, but other than that it's really good

been getting into rap a bit more lately, but right now my computero is away so i can't access my itunes (YES I USE ITUNES)

just started season 2 today

i use itunes too but only because all of my bought shit has been on there for long enough to make me too lazy to get anther media player or w/e
