well we were talking about that whole deal about the guy who was perma banned for making fun of your wife, and i was interested in it so i was linked the thread
i went into the thread, etc and then came back to report in the thread where i got the link, finishing it with "Pic related, Wade's wife" or something like that and a picture of an ugly girl from google as a poke to the old thread and to perhaps get a few laughs from people
unfortunately i didn't see poozy online so i got the banhammer up the ass

i agree on to be kind so far and soundtracks is more like a 8.5 to me
meh, i don't really care for my father will guide me a rope to the sky or alvin row (shut up, anco fans, i still like sung tongs and strawberry jam) so i can empathize with that feel
to be kind is still great but i admired it more than i loved it. there weren't any moments that made the back of my head go numb in awe like there usually is every time i listen to the seer and soundtracks

jim and a majority of mfwgmartts sound kind of like down-beat jazz, fantano was right when he said it the whole thing sounded like a warm-up and really just gira getting out of angels of light phase (which was still fantastic but completely different from swans)
i admit that way back in the 8th grade i liked situations by escape the fate which is a screamo band that most irl fans i knew got over quickly and i'm not going to look it up again
i mean, i understand the appeal to the whole careful with that axe trope but it's meaningless if it's just teenage angst instead of authentic hatred, disgust, fear and anger like what you get with older singers and artists with more life experience

Thursday Afternoon is another one to throw into the mix. Very ambient, reminds me of Music for Airports.
thursday afternoon is really good, but i remember eno describing ambient as something you could either not pay attention and listen as backgrounds music, and it would work fine, but also as something more than that if you paid enough attention
well thursday afternoon feels too lukewarm to be more than just background music, maybe that fact that it's over 60 minutes long makes it bland
don't get me wrong, it's a great piece of music, but i don't think it's on the same league as those other albums
